Ryuusei Narukami was once the fearsome Demon King, but in his second life, he has retreated from the world entirely, living as an isolated shut-in with no ambition or direction. His quiet, uneventful existence is abruptly shattered when Meteor Hanaori—the very Hero who defeated him in their past lives—reappears. However, she is no longer a legendary warrior; instead, she has been reborn as an ordinary high school girl. Her sudden return throws Ryuusei’s stagnant world into complete disarray, forcing him to confront the history he had long tried to leave behind. Determined to finally turn his life around and break free from his reclusive habits, Ryuusei decides to reenter society by becoming a teacher. In a twist of fate, he finds himself assigned to the exact same school where Hanaori is now a student. Their inevitable reunion quickly proves to be anything but ordinary, reigniting the intense rivalry that defined their previous existence. Yet, amid the chaos and lingering tension of their shared past, something entirely new begins to take shape. What starts as a volatile clash between a former Demon King and his nemesis gradually transforms, sparking an unexpected romance that neither of them could have ever anticipated.
