Let's go KAIKIGUMI

This horror comedy manga follows the unexpected journey of a timid, unnamed protagonist whose ordinary life is forever altered during one fateful encounter. He crosses paths with Mechako, the formidable leader of an organization known as the Kaikigumi. This peculiar group holds the unique responsibility of managing ghosts and supernatural creatures, orchestrating their efforts to frighten humans in a structured and organized manner. Through a twist of fate, the cowardly protagonist finds himself inexplicably drawn into the revival of the Kaikigumi. What begins as an accidental involvement quickly transforms into a central role within the organization's resurgence. As he becomes entangled in their operations, his daily existence shifts dramatically, pulling him far away from the quiet life he once knew. Following the successful revival of the group, the protagonist’s surroundings are flooded with an endless series of bizarre phenomena. Rather than experiencing genuine terror, he is subjected to a continuous parade of strange, eccentric, and distinctly non-threatening supernatural events. Each new occurrence challenges his fearful nature, creating a comedic dynamic where the paranormal is more absurd than frightening. Ultimately, his dilemma lies in navigating this peculiar world of harmless hauntings while standing alongside Mechako and her unconventional crew.
