Dara-san of the Reiwa Era

When siblings Hinata and Kaoru venture deep into a restricted and treacherous mountain forest, they expect danger but never anticipate the extraordinary encounter that awaits them. Within this forbidden wilderness, they come face to face with a terrifying serpent god whose imposing presence initially promises nothing but peril. However, what begins as a frightening confrontation quickly transforms into something entirely unexpected when the formidable deity reveals her true nature. Despite her intimidating appearance, the entity who refers to herself as the "god of misfortune" is far from the malevolent force she seems. Beneath her fearsome exterior lies an awkward, profoundly lonely being who is surprisingly easy to converse with. Rather than fleeing in terror, Hinata and Kaoru find themselves drawn to her, and the unlikely trio soon forms a genuine bond, becoming fast friends in the most improbable of circumstances. This heartwarming tale chronicles the blossoming friendship between the siblings and the misunderstood serpent deity. As they navigate their unique connection, their days become filled with a blend of comedic mishaps and deeply heartfelt adventures. Together, they prove that even the most daunting figures can harbor gentle souls, turning a journey into a dangerous forest into a story of warmth, companionship, and unexpected joy.
