Kengan Ashura

Hidden beneath the surface of Japanese society since the Edo period, a clandestine world of gladiatorial combat has thrived in secret arenas. Within these underground rings, wealthy merchants and powerful business magnates sponsor unarmed fighters to battle in brutal, winner-takes-all contests. These high-stakes matches serve as more than mere entertainment; they are a ruthless mechanism through which corporate empires settle disputes and vie for dominance. Into this unforgiving world steps Tokita Ohma, a formidable fighter known by the moniker "Ashura." Upon entering the underground circuit, he immediately begins dismantling his opponents with devastating efficiency. His extraordinary talent for overwhelming adversaries in hand-to-hand combat quickly transforms him into a force unlike any the arenas have seen before. Ohma’s relentless victories and spectacular displays of power do not go unnoticed by the elite class that controls these events. His rising reputation soon captures the attention of the most influential figures in the business world, including Nogi Hideki, the powerful chairman of the Nogi Group. As major corporate leaders take an interest in his unmatched abilities, Ashura finds himself drawn deeper into a dangerous arena where martial prowess dictates the fate of immense fortunes.
