Candy Caries

Ame is a young child with an insatiable fondness for sweets, a habit that has given rise to an unexpected inhabitant within her own body. Deep inside her mouth lives Caries, a sentient embodiment of tooth decay who thrives on the sugary treats Ame consumes so eagerly. Rather than being a source of pain or fear, Caries enjoys a remarkably carefree existence in this warm, sheltered environment, going so far as to affectionately refer to the young girl as "Mama." This unusual bond creates a bizarre dynamic between host and resident. While Ame continues her sweet-filled lifestyle, she remains entirely unaware of the true extent of her predicament. Caries settles comfortably into his domain, treating the interior of Ame's mouth as his personal sanctuary. Because of his thriving presence, Ame's physical well-being is constantly at his mercy, leaving her vulnerable to the whims of the very decay she unknowingly nurtures. The series explores this strange relationship, highlighting the hidden consequences of Ame's love for candy through the playful yet unsettling perspective of the creature living inside her.
