Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?

Takuya Seo is a devoted otaku who spends his school days quietly seated behind two of the most popular girls in class, Ijichi and Amane. Belonging to entirely different social circles, Takuya assumes he has absolutely nothing in common with these stylish classmates. Their separate worlds seem destined to remain parallel, separated by the unspoken hierarchy of high school cliques where otaku and popular students rarely interact. However, an ordinary classroom moment changes everything when a simple borrowed eraser sparks an unexpected conversation between them. Caught off guard during their exchange, Takuya accidentally lets slip a detail about his favorite anime series. Before he can recover from his mistake, Amane immediately steps in to correct him on a specific point about the show. Her sharp, knowledgeable response catches Takuya completely off guard, revealing a depth of understanding that no casual observer would possess. Despite her quick insistence that she is not actually a fan of the series, Amane’s undeniable familiarity with the material tells a very different story. Her detailed knowledge leaves Takuya questioning everything he thought he knew about the popular girl sitting near him. This surprising revelation forces him to wonder if Amane might be hiding a secret identity as a fellow geek beneath her polished exterior.
