Komekami! Girls

Komekami! Girls follows the journey of a unique seven-sister unit born from the ancient tradition that seven gods reside within a single grain of rice. As children of the rice deity, the sisters share a profound connection to the earth and its harvests. Their peaceful lives are suddenly upended when their mother, the revered rice-god queen, is urgently summoned back to the celestial realm. Unable to return to the earthly plane, she leaves her daughters behind, setting them on a heartfelt quest to uncover any lingering traces of her presence in the mortal world. Establishing their base of operations in Usa City, located in Oita Prefecture, the sisters utilize a remarkable ability to teleport between Hachiman shrines scattered across the island of Kyushu. Through these mystical travels, they immerse themselves in the communities they visit, dedicating their efforts to resolving local problems and helping those in need. Along the way, the sisters deepen their understanding of food and agriculture, frequently testing their skills in spirited cooking battles. Each challenge they face not only honors their divine heritage but also fosters their personal growth as they navigate life without their mother.
