Maru-neun Gangjwi

Woo-Ri’s life takes an extraordinary turn when her beloved five-year-old poodle mix, Maru, suddenly transforms into a human child. Now appearing as a lively five-year-old girl, Maru retains every ounce of her boundless canine curiosity and playful energy. The sudden change forces Woo-Ri to step out of her familiar role as a pet owner and embrace the demanding responsibilities of a protective older sister, tasked with guiding her newly humanized companion through a world she barely understands. Life as a human opens up thrilling possibilities for Maru. She can now stroll freely into grocery stores, attend kindergarten alongside other children, and—most excitingly—use her opposable thumbs to grasp and interact with objects in ways a dog never could. However, this remarkable transformation also brings significant challenges. Maru’s puppy-like instincts frequently threaten to cause chaos in everyday human settings, leaving Woo-Ri constantly on alert to keep her energetic little sister out of trouble. For Maru, discovering the joys and freedoms of her new form is nothing short of exhilarating, proving that being human is truly wonderful.
