GANGLION

Set in the early 2000s, Ganglion follows the daily life of Kenji Isobe, a professional henchman employed by the nefarious Ganglion Corporation. This shadowy organization is relentlessly dedicated to achieving world domination through a series of outlandish and destructive plots, including sinister campaigns known as Operation: Tokyo Cedar Pollen and Operation: Mount Fuji Detonation. For Kenji, however, working for an evil syndicate is less about global conquest and more about surviving the grueling realities of corporate employment. His workplace functions as a constant battlefield where he must navigate exhausting office politics, endure the demands of unreasonable superiors, and manage the everyday drama that plagues his colleagues. The true weight of his profession becomes apparent each time the organization’s grand ambitions are violently thwarted. Kenji repeatedly faces crushing defeat at the hands of HOPEMAN, the heroic nemesis who consistently dismantles the corporation's schemes. Caught between the impossible expectations of his villainous employers and the unstoppable force of their righteous adversary, Kenji struggles simply to make it through another day on the job.
