Red List: Keishichou Sotai Sanka PO

Hikaru Kago is a former yakuza member whose criminal past has finally caught up with him. Rather than serving time behind bars, he secures his freedom through a plea bargain that forces him into an uneasy alliance with law enforcement. His new partner is Takaomi Togasawa, an elite police detective who would much prefer the quiet safety of administrative desk work over the dangers of active duty. Despite their vastly different backgrounds and conflicting ambitions, these two men are bound together by circumstance and thrust into one of the most volatile roles within the department. Together, this unlikely duo serves as protection officers tasked with guarding individuals directly entangled in organized crime, whether they are vulnerable victims or high-profile targets marked for elimination. Every shift brings them face-to-face with ruthless underworld threats, demanding constant vigilance just to make it through the day alive. Navigating the treacherous line between the criminal syndicates Hikaru once belonged to and the justice system Takaomi represents, the pair must learn to trust each other in life-or-death situations. Their harrowing assignment within the Metropolitan Police Department has earned a grim yet fitting reputation among those who know of it, widely referred to as the final bureau before heaven.
