Cute High Earth Defense Club Hi-CARA!

Set during the romantic and compassionate Taisho era, five seemingly ordinary male students—Unzen, Sukayu, Unohana, Oshamanbe, and Aso—share a residence at the Kurotama dormitory while attending Binan High School. As members of the Earth Defense Club, affectionately known as the "do-nothing club," they spend their days lounging in their clubroom without a care in the world. Their peaceful routine shatters one morning when they discover a strange, slimy creature moving in their bathwater. After catching it, they are shocked to find it is actually Nuru, a talking Pallas's cat who has traveled from the distant future with an urgent warning: Earth faces imminent destruction. However, Nuru clarifies that he has only come to deliver the message, leaving the choice of whether to fight entirely up to them—a caveat that strikes the skeptical boys as a convenient way to dodge responsibility. Undeterred, Unzen enthusiastically embraces the challenge, declaring that taking action is simply more stylish. Inspired by his passion, the group freely chooses to defend their world, prompting Nuru to use feline science to transform them into the Haikara Romantic Troupe. Yet, as they step into their new roles, a sinister trio known as the Bankara New Elite Squad lurks in the shadows, quietly orchestrating a plot to conquer the Earth.
