Detectives These Days Are Crazy!

Keiichirou Nagumo was once celebrated as a prodigious high school detective, effortlessly unraveling mysteries that baffled everyone around him. No case proved too intricate for his brilliant mind during those golden years. However, the passage of time has been far less kind to the former genius. Now thirty-five years old and plagued by chronic hip pain, Nagumo finds himself at a frustrating crossroads. He operates a struggling detective agency devoid of clients, constantly falling behind on rent and staring down a bleak professional future with no cases to solve. His stagnant existence takes an unexpected turn when a high school girl walks into his office and declares her intention to work alongside him. Her sudden arrival forces the out-of-touch, hopelessly old-fashioned investigator to confront his own obsolescence. As this unlikely partnership begins to take shape, Nagumo is challenged to step out of his rut. With her assistance, he may finally find a way to rekindle the passion and sharp instincts that defined his youth, transforming his failing business and rediscovering his purpose in a world that seems to have moved on without him.
