Aru Asa Okitara

Aru Asa Okitara is a one-shot manga created through the collaboration of writer Nisioisin and artist Kawada Yuuya. The story follows an ordinary boy whose life is abruptly upended when he wakes up one morning to discover that he is no longer in his own body. Instead, he finds himself inhabiting the physical form of a high school girl, thrust into an unfamiliar existence without any warning or explanation for this sudden transformation. Disoriented and desperate for answers, the protagonist must navigate the immediate shock of his new reality while grappling with two urgent mysteries. He needs to uncover the true identity of the girl whose life he has unexpectedly inherited and determine the underlying cause of their inexplicable body switch. With no prior memories of her daily routine, relationships, or surroundings, every interaction becomes a precarious balancing act as he struggles to maintain the illusion that everything is normal. This tense, character-driven premise explores the psychological dissonance of waking up as someone else entirely, leaving him racing against time to understand how such an impossible event occurred and whether he can ever return to his original self.
