Past Day Present

Kotoko lives a solitary life following the passing of her father, yet she somehow manages to carry a smile through her grief. Her quiet existence is interrupted when she discovers a strange, wounded boy collapsed on the ground. After nursing him back to health, she asks for only one thing in return: that he spend her birthday with her. For someone who has endured such profound loneliness, this simple request carries the weight of her deepest longing. However, the boy she rescued harbors an unsettling secret. There is something distinctly unnatural about him, as he possesses the ability to perceive things far beyond the limits of ordinary human sight. This extraordinary awareness marks him as an outcast, destined to wander as a stray, burdened by isolation since the day he was born. As his mysterious nature comes to light, questions arise about what will ultimately become of him and whether he can truly be saved from his fate. The story hinges on a fragile choice—will he accept Kotoko’s offer and share her special day, or will he retreat into the lonely existence he has always known?
