Everyday Host

Set just a short distance from the bustling streets of Shinjuku, "Everyday Host" is a series of short-form episodes centered around Club One, an intimate and welcoming host club. Far removed from the neon-drenched excess typically associated with Tokyo’s nightlife, this cozy establishment serves as the primary backdrop for a unique exploration of the entertainment industry's hidden corners. The inviting atmosphere of the club provides a grounded contrast to the larger-than-life personalities who walk through its doors. The series chronicles the outlandish and often unpredictable daily lives of the individuals working within this distinctive trade. Rather than focusing on conventional drama, the narrative highlights the eccentricities, unconventional routines, and colorful experiences that define the people in the hosting business. Through a sequence of engaging shorts, viewers are given a window into a world where the extraordinary becomes routine, capturing the bizarre yet deeply human realities of those who dedicate themselves to the art of entertaining others at Club One.
