Araiguma Calcal-dan

Araiguma Calcal-dan is a comedic spin-off of the classic anime Araiguma Rascal, also known as Raccoon Rascal. The series shifts away from the original story to follow the daily operations of a clandestine organization known as the Calcal Group, an ambitious secret society with its sights set on total world domination. Rather than focusing on grand schemes or global threats, the narrative zeroes in on the mundane yet humorous workplace dynamics of a minor regional office—the lesser Tama branch—where five dedicated employees work tirelessly to further their organization's lofty goals. The branch is led by a handsome older man who commands the respect of his eclectic team. Under his guidance, the group navigates the everyday challenges of office life through a cast of distinct personalities. An aspirational new recruit arrives eager to prove himself, while his direct superior remains unfailingly polite yet quietly self-conscious. They are joined by a modern-minded colleague whose cold demeanor masks his approach to every situation, and a hot-headed senior employee whose fiery temper is ultimately softened by a genuinely kind heart. Together, this mismatched quintet transforms the pursuit of global conquest into a lighthearted workplace comedy, proving that even the most sinister organizations must contend with the ordinary struggles of teamwork and office camaraderie.
