Deku and Bakugo Rising

Deku and Bakugo Rising is a special two-part spin-off of the acclaimed My Hero Academia series. This focused narrative explores the formative middle school years of Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo, specifically centering on their experiences as second-year students. Long before they step into the prestigious halls of U.A. High School, this story delves into the complex dynamic between the two boys during a pivotal chapter of their youth. Serving as an official tie-in to Heroes: Rising, the manga offers readers a deeper understanding of the relationship that defines much of the broader franchise. By examining the interactions and underlying tensions between Deku and Bakugo prior to the events of the main storyline, the spin-off enriches the overarching lore. It provides essential context for fans eager to trace the evolution of these two central figures from ordinary classmates into the extraordinary heroes they are destined to become.
