Shinigami ni Totsugu Hi

Shinigami ni Totsugu Hi follows the journey of a young girl burdened by a profound desire to end her own life. Driven by this singular wish, she ventures deep into a secluded forest known to be the dwelling place of a death god. She seeks out this divine being with one desperate hope: that he will grant her request and take her life away, finally offering her the release she so desperately craves. However, the encounter does not unfold as she anticipates. Rather than granting her immediate death, the god delivers an unexpected decree. He informs the girl that her time has not yet come and that she is far from dying anytime soon. According to his pronouncement, her life must continue until she fulfills a specific sequence of milestones: she must marry, bear children, and raise them properly. Only after she has lived through these experiences will her fate be sealed. Faced with this strange ultimatum, the girl responds in a way neither she nor the deity could have predicted. Instead of despairing over the extended years she must endure, she turns the god's own conditions into a direct proposal. Looking upon the very entity she came to die by, she simply asks him to marry her, setting the stage for an extraordinary and unconventional bond.
