Applause

Applause follows the captivating romance between two dedicated dancers whose lives become deeply intertwined. Junaque is a young woman connected to the Belgian royal family, carrying the weight and expectations of her prestigious lineage. Her world shifts when she meets Shara, a Japanese transfer student who has arrived in Belgium to pursue her own passion for dance. Their story begins within the elegant halls of St. Maria's, an exclusive private Catholic school where their shared devotion to the art form sparks a profound connection. As their bond deepens through rigorous training and mutual ambition, the narrative expands far beyond the quiet European campus. The setting dramatically transitions from the refined atmosphere of the Belgian academy to the relentless, high-stakes world of professional show business in New York City. Thrust into a demanding industry that tests both their talents and their relationship, Junaque and Shara must navigate the intense pressures of performance and fame. Together, they face the challenges of chasing their dreams on one of the world's most unforgiving stages, striving to keep their love alive amid the dazzling but exhausting demands of the spotlight.
