Million Doll

Million Doll follows the story of Suuko, a reclusive shut-in with an all-consuming passion for idol culture. Though she rarely leaves her room, she possesses a remarkable and highly specific talent: the ability to propel any idol to stardom through the sheer influence of her blogging. Armed with her keyboard and an intimate understanding of online fandom, she operates as a hidden force within the entertainment world, capable of shaping public perception and driving popularity from behind a screen. Suuko sets her sights on a new project, choosing Itorio, a local idol based in Fukuoka, as her latest subject. Her mission is clear—to elevate Itorio’s profile and significantly boost her commercial success using her proven digital strategies. However, transforming an unknown performer into a star proves far more complicated than anticipated when formidable obstacles emerge to block her path. Her efforts are soon challenged by two distinct figures who complicate her carefully laid plans. The first is Ryuu-san, a naturally charismatic idol whose powerful presence commands attention, and the second is Mariko, a gritty underground performer carving out her own space in the industry. As Suuko navigates this competitive landscape from the shadows, she must contend with these rival forces to achieve her ultimate goal.
