Trench Flowers

In August 1893, according to the church calendar, the Kingdom of Nohmaland launched a full-scale invasion of the Flatanian Empire. Using alleged atrocities committed against the Patlasi people within imperial borders as their pretext for war, Nohmaland forces crossed into enemy territory, igniting a brutal and relentless conflict. As the fighting escalated into grueling trench warfare, the empire found itself in desperate need of reinforcements to support its regular troops on the front lines. To bolster their faltering defenses, the Flatanian Empire deployed an unexpected force: the Armed Service, an elite unit of combat maids originally tasked with guarding and policing the imperial castle. Stripped from their domestic duties and thrust into the horrors of the trenches, these armed maids must now trade their protective roles for the brutal realities of frontline combat. The war against the invading kingdom rages on without end, forcing this unique sisterhood of soldiers to fight for their empire's survival in the mud and blood of a merciless battlefield.
