Anne Happy: Unhappy Go Lucky!

Tennomifune Academy operates under a unique and rather unfortunate system. Students burdened with what the school terms "negative karma"—young individuals seemingly cursed by relentless misfortune—are gathered together and placed into a single designated group: Class 1-7. This specialized classroom serves as a gathering place for those whose daily lives are constantly derailed by bad luck, creating an environment where adversity is simply a shared routine. On her very first day of high school, Ruri Hibarigaoka, affectionately known as Hibari, steps into this unusual class and quickly forms bonds with her fellow students. She meets Anne Hanakoizumi, or Hanako, a girl whose life is defined by an extraordinary streak of terrible luck, alongside Botan Kumegawa, referred to simply as Botan, a classmate plagued by a remarkably delicate constitution. Despite their heavy burdens, the trio immediately clicks, forging a fast friendship built on mutual understanding. Together, these spirited classmates share a singular, heartfelt goal: to experience the joyful, carefree high school life that has always eluded them. However, given the overwhelming nature of their collective misfortunes, achieving ordinary happiness proves to be a monumental challenge. As they navigate each unpredictable day side by side, they must wonder whether chasing a normal adolescence is simply pushing their already fragile luck to its absolute limit.
