Ichiba Kurogane Wants to Earn Money

Born into a wealthy business dynasty, Ichiba Kurogane is determined to build his own fortune from scratch rather than rely on his family's legacy. To achieve this, he enrolls at Gakuenzono Academy, an institution where a student's worth is measured entirely by their ability to generate wealth. Within its walls, all commerce is conducted exclusively in school-yen, and outside currency is strictly prohibited. Gifted with the unique ability to recognize future financial success at a glance, Kurogane sets his sights on Naruko Hana, a young culinary student running a struggling Japanese cuisine club on the verge of closure. By leveraging his sharp instincts to attract customers, he aims to help her unlock the true commercial potential of her exceptional cooking skills. However, Kurogane’s ambitious plans are derailed by a critical mistake: bringing his personal wallet onto campus. This violation of academy rules results in a staggering fine of one billion school-yen. The ruthless student council president, Asamatsuri Hagane, issues a merciless ultimatum—Kurogane must pay massive monthly installments toward his debt or face immediate expulsion. Now burdened by an overwhelming financial crisis, he must use every ounce of his talent to turn around Hana’s failing restaurant, clear his monumental debt, and prove that he can s쳮d on his own terms.
