Quality Assurance in Another World

Situated in a remote region south of the Felnarc continent, the island of Clayborne is divided into five small nations locked in perpetual conflict. Within the Kingdom of Bayle—the smallest and most tranquil of these territories—lies a quiet village where a young woman named Nikola leads a simple, unchanging life. Her peaceful routine is shattered one day while she is gathering firewood. A massive dragon, a beast believed to dwell only deep within the mountains, suddenly appears before her and prepares to attack her home. Just as disaster looms, a man named Haga arrives to intervene. He is an operative for the King's Seekers, a highly classified investigation unit. Although Nikola has never resented the repetitive calm of her daily existence, this extraordinary encounter awakens a profound curiosity within her. Captivated by Haga and the vast experiences his journeys represent, she resolves to leave her sheltered life behind and venture into the wider world. Through this decision, she embarks on a path that will ultimately force her to confront the startling true nature of her reality.
