Wanna Be Hero

Since childhood, Tachibana Hideo has harbored a singular dream: to become a real-life superhero inspired by the television programs he adored. Determined to turn this ambition into reality, he enrolls in the Kantou Films School immediately after graduating from high school. However, his journey takes an unexpected detour during the summer before classes begin. While working a part-time job as a costumed villain in a live-action "Crashman" hero stage show, Hideo becomes far too immersed in his role and accidentally kicks the performer playing Crash Pink directly in the face. The incident costs him his job on the spot. To make matters worse, Hideo soon discovers that the actress behind the mask is none other than Mutou Sakurako, an aspiring performer who happens to be his new classmate. Furious over the threat to her prized appearance, Sakurako demands that Hideo atone for his mistake, subjecting him to relentless teasing and torment as penance. Yet, as the two are forced to spend more time together navigating their shared academic path, their hostile dynamic begins to shift. Beneath the constant bickering and mutual frustration, an unexpectedly sweet connection slowly starts to blossom between them.
