Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian

Alya is a recent transfer student who has quickly become one of the most popular figures at her new high school. Known for consistently earning top marks in her classes, she maintains a composed and often distant demeanor, frequently giving those around her the cold shoulder. Among her peers is Kuze Masachika, an unassuming and nerdy classmate whom she generally ignores during their daily school interactions. However, beneath her aloof exterior lies a hidden affection that occasionally slips through her carefully maintained guard. In unexpected moments, Alya blurts out flirtatious remarks directed at Kuze, speaking them entirely in Russian under the assumption that he cannot understand her. What she does not realize is that Kuze comprehends every word she says in Russian, yet he deliberately pretends not to notice her sudden bursts of affection. This dynamic creates a charming and comedic tension between the two students. While Alya believes her feelings remain safely concealed behind a language barrier, Kuze quietly absorbs her sweet confessions without revealing his secret. Their unconventional interactions set the stage for a delightfully eccentric love story as they navigate the complexities of high school life and unspoken emotions.
