When Keigo was very young, his family relocated overseas, abruptly separating him from his closest friend, Chihiro. As the years passed, the distance between them grew into an unbearable ache. The prolonged absence of his dearest companion eventually took a severe toll on Keigo’s mental well-being, driving him to withdraw completely from society and become a shut-in. Upon learning of the boy's deteriorating condition, Chihiro’s mother took pity on him and extended a compassionate invitation, offering to care for Keigo if he chose to return home. Reunited at last with his childhood friend, Keigo is unable to contain the emotions that have festered during their time apart.
