Life With the Slime

Yuji is an ordinary young man who desires nothing more than a quiet, peaceful life. However, his daily routine takes an extraordinary turn when he begins cohabiting with his girlfriend—an extraterrestrial slime entity. Despite her otherworldly nature and amorphous form, she harbors a deep, singular affection for him, wanting nothing more than to have Yuji all to herself. Their unconventional romance forms the core of this collection, exploring the unique challenges and intimate moments of living alongside a being from beyond the stars. Alongside their ongoing domestic life, the narrative delves into additional speculative tales that expand upon themes of transformation, hidden mysteries, and unexpected disappearances, weaving together a broader tapestry of strange encounters and surreal experiences. Spanning across multiple interconnected stories, the compilation chronicles the evolving dynamic between Yuji and his devoted alien partner while introducing parallel narratives centered on altered subjects and vanished youths. Together, these episodes blend science fiction elements with deeply personal relationships, presenting a distinctive look at love and existence far outside the boundaries of the ordinary world.
