Heavy Mecha Blues

For most people, the idea of owning a personal mecha sounds like an impossible fantasy. When Eiji’s eccentric father constructs a female android designed to assist with household chores, the young man believes his daily struggles are finally over. He envisions a future of effortless comfort, convinced that this mechanical companion will smooth out every inconvenience in his life. However, he quickly discovers that his father’s unconventional engineering comes with unexpected complications. Rather than functioning as a docile servant, the newly activated mecha girl, Akira-chan, exhibits a fiercely independent personality. She possesses a mind entirely her own and shows little interest in simply following orders. Instead of making Eiji’s routine easier, her unpredictable behavior introduces a fresh wave of chaos into his home. Her refusal to act as a standard domestic helper forces him to constantly adapt to her whims. Now caught between his father’s bizarre ingenuity and Akira-chan’s stubborn autonomy, Eiji must navigate a living situation far more demanding than he ever anticipated. Whether this headstrong mechanical companion will ultimately improve his circumstances, plunge his life into deeper turmoil, or somehow manage to do both at once remains to be seen.
