Tonbo!

After a controversial incident leads to his disqualification from professional golf, Igarashi retreats from the public eye and relocates to the remote Tokara Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture. Often referred to as Japan's last unexplored wilderness, this isolated archipelago offers him the quiet anonymity he desperately seeks. However, his secluded life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Tonbo, a remarkably innocent young girl who spends her days playing on a makeshift golf course hidden among the islands. Tonbo possesses an extraordinary, almost genius-level talent for the game, executing every conceivable shot using nothing more than a single 3-iron. Igarashi is captivated by her raw ability, though he remains puzzled by her insistence on relying solely on one club instead of a full set. As he observes her unconventional approach, he begins to question whether her limitation is merely a quirk or something far more deliberate. Beneath her cheerful demeanor and remarkable skill on the course, Tonbo carries the weight of a deeply painful past. Her unwavering attachment to that solitary club hints at a sorrowful history she keeps carefully guarded, setting the stage for a story where the healing power of golf slowly unravels the emotional burdens they both carry.
