Shounen-in Ushijima-kun

This official spin-off explores the formative years of Kaoru Ushijima, long before he ever became entangled in the ruthless world of underground finance. Set during the harsh winter of his second year of junior high school, the story follows a young Ushijima as he navigates the turbulent realities of adolescence. Far from the calculating figure he will eventually become, he is still an ordinary student whose life takes a sudden and violent turn following a bitter clash with the three Wanido brothers. The escalating conflict ultimately pushes Ushijima to a breaking point, culminating in a reckless act where he strikes Sanzo over the head with a metal baseball bat. Charged with causing bodily harm, he is swiftly apprehended and sent to a juvenile detention center. Thrust into an unforgiving environment entirely foreign to him, the young protagonist must confront the stark consequences of his actions. As he endures his first days confined within these cold walls, the story examines how this pivotal experience begins to shape his mindset, offering a compelling glimpse into the origins of a character destined for a much darker path.
