Train to the End of the World

In a quiet rural town that appears entirely unremarkable, an unsettling phenomenon begins to alter the lives of its inhabitants. Yet for Shizuru Chikura, this bizarre transformation is secondary to a far more personal crisis: the sudden disappearance of her closest friend. Driven by unwavering resolve and a desperate need for answers, Shizuru refuses to wait idly while the world around her shifts into something unrecognizable. Gathering three other girls willing to face the unknown, she devises a daring plan to leave their fractured home behind. Together, they board an abandoned train, setting out on a perilous journey toward the outside world. The tracks carry them far beyond the boundaries of everything they have ever known, into a landscape where survival is anything but guaranteed. With no assurance that they will ever return alive, the group presses forward through uncertainty and danger. As the train pushes relentlessly toward its ultimate destination, the stakes grow higher with every passing mile. The girls must confront not only the strange new realities unfolding beyond their town but also the lingering dread of what lies ahead. One haunting question remains as they approach the end of the line: what exactly awaits them at the final stop?
