Makai Toshi Hunter

Gods have descended upon the earth, plunging civilization into absolute chaos. In this devastated landscape known as the Demon City, nightmares take physical form, oceans rise to swallow entire metropolises, and psychic abilities have rendered conventional firearms obsolete. Amidst the ruin, Kyoya Izayoi stands as a formidable protector. A master of the rare martial art of nenpo, he wields the mythical sword Ashura to defend the beautiful Sayaka Katagiri from the horrors that now stalk humanity. A desperate race is underway between two powerful factions: the malevolent Dark Order and the elite Super Soldiers of the Special Abilities Task Force. Both are hunting for the individual prophesied to be God. When Kyoya intervenes to rescue a member of the Task Force, he is thrust directly into the center of their violent conflict. Simultaneously, operatives of the Dark Order launch a sudden ambush against Sayaka, forcing him to confront monstrous threats on multiple fronts. Caught between nature and the supernatural, Kyoya must decide whether he can slay the beasts threatening the woman he protects and help the Task Force thwart the Dark Order’s apocalyptic ambitions before the world is entirely consumed.
