Taimashin

As cases of demonic possession continue to surge, Dr. Taima offers a singular solution: his needles. He wields the taimashin through a mysterious gift, employing these specialized implements to exorcise malevolent and parasitic spirits. Accompanied by his attractive assistant, Maki Togetsu, he investigates a wave of possessions in the local area that has turned ordinary residents into ravenous creatures devouring anything in reach—dogs, cats, and even other people. His inquiries eventually lead him to Dunwich, Massachusetts, where he encounters Kyogo Ayakashi, another practitioner of the needle arts. As they confront ancient horrors that ought to remain buried, how will these masters of the taimashin ensnare their quarry?
