San-Ho has spent his life harboring a very specific and deeply personal fantasy: being thoroughly overwhelmed by a towering, handsome beastman with tentacles. He has channeled this intense longing directly into his daily work as an octopus fisherman, living out his desires in the only way he knows how. Everything changes when he unexpectedly rescues the octopus prince of the Dragon King. As a reward for his heroic deed, San-Ho is granted a prestigious invitation to the underwater palace, where he wastes no time claiming his prize by requesting a beastman husband of his very own. However, reality falls drastically short of his grand expectations. Instead of the massive, tentacled powerhouse he envisioned, the palace presents him with Baek-Kyung—a man who possesses neither monstrous proportions nor a single tentacle. Baek-Kyung is simply a small, undeniably adorable, and compact figure, leaving San-Ho feeling as though he ordered a feast and received a mere appetizer. Yet, despite his initial disappointment over receiving shrimp instead of calamari, San-Ho soon discovers that appearances can be deceiving. Sometimes, the most unassuming packages hold the power to deliver the greatest impact.
