Gaengsaenggyosil

In a transformed South Korea where the juvenile justice system has been entirely abolished, the government has replaced it with strict rehabilitation centers designed to house young offenders. Min-su finds himself thrust into this unforgiving new reality after being wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to one such facility. Upon his arrival, he quickly discovers a horrifying truth: the center is not a place of reform, but an inescapable hell where conventional means of survival and freedom are rendered completely useless. Refusing to let his younger brother suffer under a fabricated sentence, Min-su’s older brother, Yu-seong, takes drastic measures to mount a rescue. He infiltrates the heavily guarded compound by assuming the identity of a correctional officer, placing himself directly inside the belly of the beast. Together, the two brothers are forced into a desperate struggle against both the brutal confines of the institution and the corrupt system that imprisoned Min-su. What follows is a harrowing fight for survival and escape as they risk everything to tear down a false sense of justice from the inside out.
