My-HiME

Yuuichi Tate is thrilled to begin his studies at a prestigious new high school, but his excitement quickly fades when he discovers the campus is frequently besieged by mysterious creatures known as Orphans. To combat these relentless threats, the academy has established an elite task force composed entirely of young women called HiMEs. Gifted with the ability to manipulate various elemental forces, these fighters serve as the school's primary line of defense against the invading monsters. However, raw elemental power alone is not enough to defeat the Orphans. Each HiME must locate her unique Key—a specific individual who can partner with her to summon a Child, a formidable combat entity essential for turning the tide of battle. In a twist of extraordinary and perhaps unfortunate luck, Yuuichi soon learns that he is not merely a bystander in this hidden war. He is the designated Key for not one, but two different HiMEs. To complicate matters further, the two girls connected to him are fierce rivals whose intense competition threatens to upend his daily life. Thrust into the center of a supernatural conflict and caught between two powerful, clashing personalities, Yuuichi realizes that surviving his new school will require far more than just good grades.
