Shangri-La Frontier

In the near future, traditional screen-based video games have been relegated to retro status. The industry is dominated by state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, and any title that fails to meet these advanced standards is widely dismissed as a "crap game." Despite their poor quality, an overwhelming number of these subpar releases continue to flood the market. A dedicated subculture of players known as "crap-game hunters" devotes itself entirely to conquering these flawed titles, and Rakuro Hizutome stands among the most skilled of them all. Driven by his relentless passion for overcoming broken mechanics and unbalanced systems, Rakuro decides to take on an entirely new challenge: Shangri-La Frontier. Unlike the glitch-ridden experiences he usually favors, this title is celebrated as a "god-tier game," boasting a massive player base of thirty million users. As he ventures into its expansive world, Rakuro forms bonds with online friends and crosses paths with fierce rivals. These encounters begin to profoundly alter the destinies of both Rakuro and the other players around him, launching the ultimate gaming adventure led by the strongest crap-game hunter in existence.
