Shrine of the Morning Mist

Yuzu Hieda lives a quiet life serving as a priestess at her family’s local shrine, dedicating her days to traditional spiritual duties alongside her fellow shrine maidens. Their peaceful routine is abruptly disrupted when Yuzu’s childhood friend returns to the area and moves in to live with them. However, his homecoming brings unforeseen danger, as malevolent spirits quickly take a keen interest in him, threatening both his safety and the sanctity of their home. Realizing that the shrine's current defenses are not enough to handle this sudden supernatural threat, Yuzu is forced to look beyond the shrine grounds for assistance. She takes it upon herself to recruit trusted friends from her school, drawing them into a hidden world of spiritual warfare they never expected to encounter. Together, this newly formed group must stand by Yuzu and her family, combining their efforts to fend off the encroaching evil spirits. As the dark forces grow bolder in their pursuit of her childhood friend, Yuzu must balance her ordinary student life with her sacred responsibilities, leading an unlikely team in a desperate battle to protect the people she cares about most.
