Kotoshi Chuumoku no Ace-chan

Can a naturally clumsy and painfully shy girl truly transform into a dazzling star athlete? Aoi Nasukawa grew up on a remote island, spending her days dreaming of the glittering high school life she had seen in magazines. Her greatest passion and specialty was beach volleyball, a sport she intended to use as her ticket to popularity and youthful glory. However, her grand plans shatter the moment she enrolls in a mainland city school completely devoid of any ocean or sandy shores. Without the sea, her carefully envisioned debut falls flat before it even begins, leaving her desperate to salvage what remains of her youth. Determined not to let her high school years slip away in disappointment, Aoi seizes an unexpected opportunity when her classmate, Sayaka Misumi, invites her to join the Nasumi High School Girls' Volleyball Club. Though indoor courts are far removed from the sunlit beaches she knows, Aoi sets her sights on an ambitious new goal: becoming the sparkling ace of the team. Yet, stepping onto the court with her timid nature and ditzy tendencies proves to be a challenge all its own, raising the question of whether she can truly shine under these unfamiliar conditions.
