Tokyo Jitensha Shoujo

Iruka, a bright-eyed girl from the countryside, has just arrived in Tokyo to begin her high school life at a boarding academy. Captivated by the allure of the metropolis, she dreams of experiencing its beauty and transforming herself into a true city girl. Her new roommate and classmate is a genuine Tokyo native, yet surprisingly despises the very city Iruka idolizes. Though the girl is often irritable and cold, Iruka naively interprets this demeanor as refined urban sophistication. Eager to grow closer to her aloof roommate and connect with other stylish girls like her, Iruka decides that upgrading her rural bicycle into a sleek road bike might be the perfect first step. Unfortunately, the steep prices of Tokyo quickly dash her hopes of simply buying one. Through an unexpected twist of fate, Iruka finds herself accidentally joining a club known as the "Bike Angels," a group dedicated to helping her customize and transform her existing country bicycle. As she works alongside them, Iruka must navigate her limited budget and her ambitious goals. Whether she can achieve her dream of riding a magnificent road bike, become the chic Tokyo girl she envisions, and finally break through the ice to win over her distant roommate remains to be seen.
