Street Fighter Gaiden

Street Fighter Gaiden shifts the focus away from the competitive arena, exploring the personal journeys and battles of the World Warriors beyond the confines of official tournaments. Structured as a collection of short stories, the manga dedicates individual chapters to a wide roster of classic fighters. Beloved characters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile receive their rightful spotlight alongside numerous other skilled martial artists who populate this expansive universe. Each narrative delves into distinct conflicts that test the resolve and abilities of these legendary combatants. Cammy joins forces with her Delta Red unit to confront the dangerously narcissistic Vega, while T. Hawk engages in a grueling showdown against Balrog across a harsh desert landscape. Meanwhile, Fei-Long uses his journey to demonstrate the true essence and discipline required of a genuine martial artist. The stakes reach their peak when longtime rivals and training partners Ryu and Ken are forced to unite against a shared, overwhelming threat. Together, they must face their deadliest adversary, Akuma, in a climactic battle that pushes both warriors to their absolute limits. Through these varied encounters, the series offers a compelling look at the lives, alliances, and struggles of the world's greatest fighters outside the tournament circuit.
