Deadpoint

Every ambitious athlete eventually confronts the agonizing reality of their own ceiling—the invisible boundary where progress halts and potential seems to run dry. For Ho-Ji Park, a young sports climber driven by fierce aspirations, accepting that human limitations are permanent is an unbearable thought. She refuses to believe that her capacity to rise has a definitive end, yet life soon forces a devastating reckoning upon her. When her mother dies in a tragic accident, Ho-Ji’s grief fundamentally alters her perception of the world. Her internal struggle against personal boundaries takes on a startling physical form: she begins to see a dark, impenetrable barrier stretching across the sky, serving as a literal manifestation of every limit holding her back. This haunting vision transforms her athletic pursuit into something far more profound than competition. Years later, Ho-Ji joins forces with A-Seong Chae, a former climbing idol whose own legacy adds weight to their shared endeavor. Together, they set their sights on the most daunting ascent imaginable. No longer merely scaling rock faces, Ho-Ji embarks on the ultimate climb—a relentless push upward meant to shatter the dark barrier above and transcend every limitation standing in her way.
