Curveball and Splitter

A single night of reckless decisions leaves Yesol with fragmented memories and an unexpected complication. Seeking answers, he finds himself standing at the door of Hanrim, a figure from his past who is both deeply familiar and strikingly distant. The two men once shared the diamond as teammates on their high school baseball team, but the years have not softened Hanrim’s demeanor. If anything, time has only sharpened his icy exterior into something far more guarded and hostile. What greets Yesol is not merely indifference, but a palpable resentment. Hanrim harbors a bitter grudge rooted in events that Yesol cannot recall, leaving him entirely defenseless against accusations he does not understand. The dynamic between them has shifted drastically from their athletic days, replaced by a tense undercurrent of unresolved history and unspoken grievances. Trapped in a web of forgotten actions, Yesol must navigate the hostility of a man who clearly believes he has been wronged. As he struggles to piece together the missing fragments of that fateful night, a pressing question looms over them both: what truly transpired between these former teammates, and why has Yesol’s memory erased the very incident that now defines their fractured relationship?
