A Guilty Victim-Player's Hustle Play

When a job transfer brings Kang Yesol back to the region of his old alma mater, an ordinary night out sets off a chain of events he never saw coming. At a bar called Splitter, he drinks far beyond his limit—only to wake the next morning in the home of the establishment's owner, Jeong Hanlim. Shaken by the realization that he slept with a man, Yesol flees in a panic. His escape proves short-lived. A vital USB drive is missing—left behind, he realizes with dread, in Hanlim's home—and Yesol has no choice but to swallow his pride and go back. Only then does recognition finally strike: Hanlim is a former junior from his high school baseball team. Yet Yesol's memories of those years have all but vanished, and he pays little mind to his underclassman's biting hostility. The past, however, refuses to stay buried. As fragments of the high school years Yesol locked away begin to resurface, they carry with them a chilling echo he can no longer ignore: "Sunbae, people like you should just die."
