Ippon! again

Following a humiliating defeat in the final round of her last tournament, Michi makes the difficult decision to leave competitive judo behind. She convinces herself that stepping away from the sport is simply a natural part of growing up. With high school social obligations and demanding entrance exams on the horizon, she believes there will be no room left for the martial art she cherishes most. However, abandoning her passion proves far more difficult than anticipated. Her lingering affection for judo resurfaces unexpectedly when she encounters Towa, a new classmate who also happens to be the very opponent responsible for Michi’s devastating final loss. Rather than harboring resentment, Michi finds herself drawn back into the world of competition as Towa reveals an ambitious goal: establishing a brand-new judo club at their school. To make this dream a reality, Towa urgently needs dedicated members willing to join her cause. Brought together by their shared devotion to the sport, Michi and Towa form an unlikely partnership. By combining their talents and reigniting their mutual enthusiasm, they step onto the mat once more, determined to channel their dedication into achieving a perfect ippon together.
