ANCHORING DUTCHMAN

Set in the year 2036, ANCHORING DUTCHMAN chronicles what is affectionately described as the world's slowest romance. The story centers on a dedicated museum curator whose ordinary professional life is unexpectedly disrupted when a mysterious ghost suddenly appears before her. This spectral visitor is no mere apparition; he is a soul deeply bound to the very institution she oversees, caught in an enduring supernatural predicament that has kept him tethered to the mortal realm far longer than any living person could comprehend. The ghost's lingering presence is the direct result of a powerful curse originating from his ship, which has effectively trapped him within the confines of the museum. Unable to move on or find peace, he exists in a state of perpetual stasis, waiting for a specific condition to be met. According to the terms of his binding, there is only one way to shatter the curse and grant him true freedom: he must find his genuine, true love. As the curator becomes entangled in his plight, their relationship begins to unfold at an extraordinarily deliberate pace, weaving together elements of the supernatural and romance in a unique tale of patience, connection, and eventual liberation.
