Aru Asa Dummy Head Mic ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei

In this absurd slapstick comedy, an ordinary young man finds his life turned completely upside down when he is reincarnated not as a hero or a villain, but as a dummy head microphone. This highly specialized piece of audio equipment, designed in the shape of a human head to capture immersive, three-dimensional soundscapes, becomes his new permanent form. Stripped of his humanity and unable to move or speak, he must navigate the bizarre reality of existing solely as a recording device. His unusual predicament takes a lively turn when he is acquired by a high school ASMR club. There, he becomes the centerpiece for Yuri and her enthusiastic group of friends, who are deeply passionate about Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response—the soothing, nerve-tingling sensation triggered by specific auditory and visual stimuli. The girls dedicate their time to crafting intricate soundscapes using their new microphone, hoping to perfect their craft on a competitive stage. Driven by ambition and camaraderie, the club members set their sights on a remarkable goal: competing in the "ASMR Koushien," a prestigious national championship for high school ASMR enthusiasts. As the girls work tirelessly toward victory, the protagonist can only silently observe and listen, experiencing the chaotic, humorous, and unexpectedly heartfelt journey of high school club life entirely from the perspective of a microphone.
