The Tatami Time Machine Blues

A spin-off of Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, The Tatami Time Machine Blues unfolds on the sweltering day of August 12th. When a careless spill of cola destroys the sole remote control for his boarding house's only air conditioning unit, the unnamed narrator is left to endure the oppressive summer heat. Desperate for relief, he conceives an audacious plan: using a time machine to travel back to the previous day and retrieve the remote before the accident ever occurs. However, this seemingly straightforward mission quickly spirals out of control when his mischievous friend Ozu gets involved. Unable to resist the temptation of meddling with the past, Ozu begins tampering with historical events, setting off a chain reaction that pushes the entire universe toward the brink of annihilation. What began as a simple quest to restore a broken appliance transforms into a frantic struggle for survival. Now, the narrator must race through the corridors of time itself, desperately working to undo the damage and prevent a catastrophic disaster from consuming reality.
