Mashima, a newly appointed editor in the boys' love manga department, suddenly finds himself trapped inside the very genre he works on. Unsure whether this bizarre predicament is reality or merely a dream, he desperately seeks a way out. His only means of escape leads him into an intimate encounter with his superior, Shiba. Upon waking and returning to his normal life, Mashima discovers that his perspective has shifted entirely. He becomes acutely aware of Shiba—a highly competent yet undeniably irritating boss—and his constant nervousness begins to sabotage his daily work. Matters complicate further when a drunken evening unexpectedly results in Mashima spending the night at Shiba's apartment. Amidst this growing personal turmoil, Mashima receives a new professional assignment: overseeing Megusuri, a male artist who arrives at the editorial office to submit his latest manuscript. However, Mashima quickly uncovers a baffling secret behind the newcomer's work.
